We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d), to join our international Product Development team. The position is based in Bandung, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software stability and performance within a cross-functional agile Scrum team
  • Execute manual regression tests on laboratory instrumentation and associated software platforms
  • Extend and maintain an existing UI test suite using modern UI testing frameworks
  • Write and maintain API tests for REST-based services, ensuring robust coverage of backend components
  • Integrate automated test suites into the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions), ensuring fast feedback on code quality and test regressions
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and application scientists to identify test coverage needs and ensure high-quality feature delivery
  • Create and maintain comprehensive QA documentation including test plans, test cases, checklists, and release validation reports
  • Work with the support and applications teams to replicate, analyze, and document user-reported issues and provide clear feedback via support tickets

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or completion of a professional technical education with relevant industry experience
  • Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance in an agile development environment
  • Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests in at least one of the following languages: C# or C++
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and experience in designing or validating API test coverage
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD environments, ideally using GitHub Actions or similar systems
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management
  • Experience with UI automation tools such as Ranorex or Selenium. 
  • Familiarity with test management platforms like Xray, Azure DevOps or similar
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a distributed international team
