We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) - Field Service Support who would like to support our Field Service Team at our office in Stuttgart for 20 hours per week.

Join our headquarters in Stuttgart (Germany) if you are passionate about biotechnology and new instrumentation that bring more automation and efficiency into drug discovery and cell line development workflows to produce therapeutic proteins, gene and cell therapies. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibrations of benchtop instruments and equipment.
  • Provide hands-on technical application support directly at customer sites.
  • Maintain accurate support documentation and reports to enhance service quality.
  • Collaborate closely with application, sales, and support teams to resolve and escalate technical issues.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through a strong support-oriented mindset.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute feedback and insights to continuously improve customer support processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in biomedical engineering, mechanical, mechatronics, electronics or a comparable field.
  • Enthusiastic about developing technical skills related to instrument maintenance and repair.
  • Open to hands-on training and continuous learning in workshop or service environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, quick comprehension, and a communicative, open personality.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
