Join CYTENA as a Quality Specialist (m/f/d) and play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards for innovative technologies in single cell sorting, liquid handling, and cell line development.

The position is initially limited to a fixed term of 12 months and is intended as a parental leave replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage non-conformance (NC) investigations and related documentation
  • Assist in reducing CAPA backlog and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions
  • Perform quality assurance activities for manufacturing and outsourced processes
  • Support internal and supplier audits, including preparation and follow-up of findings
  • Review and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Conduct risk assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., LEAN, 5S)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and support QMS development (incl. eQMS transition)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Initial experience in manufacturing or production environments; prior QA experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint and/or eQMS systems is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and international teams
  • Structured and proactive working style with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
